The internet provides a great place to make money. But it also provides a great place to procrastinate. A lot of internet marketers who aren’t meeting their goals say they don’t have enough time in the day. But are you managing your time wisely?
The best way to get more out of each day is to analyze what you’re doing and if necessary, crack the whip and make sure that you have enough discipline to get things done. How do you do this? Incentivize your time and decide to get serious about meeting all your objectives.
You Need a Task List!
Writing down what you need to do every day is a great way to make sure things get done. Goal setting and time mangement are vital. You can even use Gmail Tasks, which is a to-do list built into your Gmail account.
All Work and (Almost) No Play
Don’t play until the work is done. That means you can’t dig into your Google Reader and catch up on your favourite blogs and you can’t play your favourite online game or visit Facebook or do any fun stuff until you’ve cleared your to-do list. You can treat yourself to some fun after you meet a goal (such as writing content, submitting your site to some directories, answering emails, etc.)
Track Your Time
Time management in IM includes looking closely at the time you spend at the computer. Every time you spend time at the computer, you should determine how much money you earned. Working to increase that income and break your own record can keep you focused. Consider some time tracking tools to help you see where your time is being spent.
The best way to make sure you’re making the most of your online time is to analyze it and track it and work to make the most of every moment spent online.
Have a most outstanding day.

Hi Sean,
I do set goals and I have a daily to-do list. I like structure and it helps me be accountable for what I’ve done that day, week or month. It’s a clear indicator of whether or not I’m on track to achieve my goals. I can see very clearly when I’m falling off the wagon.
So, I can quickly make the necessary adjustments and keep moving forward. Checking things that I’ve done off my list gives me that feeling of accomplishment. I find it helps to create the winning feeling I need to be able to do more.
