internet marketingInternet marketing requires a lot of online presence. There are so many ways you can increase your earning potential. Most marketers decide to start a website. They create a website, write a great sales letter and squeeze page and start promoting the heck out of it. What you need to know is if that site sits and remains static, you will eventually lose out on the potential of people getting to your site who want to buy what you are selling. Even if you attain the coveted top spot on Google, you won’t hold it for long if you don’t continually update.

How Blogging Can Help Internet Marketing Efforts

A blog, added to your website can do a lot for your search engine optimization. Not only can you continually add more information to help you get more visitors but you can also be sure that the search engine spiders will start visiting your site more often.

Every time you make a change to a web page, the spiders want to come and visit and see what’s new. The blog is a great way to get Google, Yahoo, MSN and the other search engines visit more regularly.

Visit Other Blogs in Your Niche

By writing blog posts relevant to your niche and commenting on other posts in that category, with a link back to your site, you’ll increase your search engine presence as well as get people putting you on their blogroll which can help you get more relevant visitors, too.

Have a most outstanding day.

Bingo! I totally agree.

Blog are most of the time easy for search engines to index and easy to just throw in content whenever you want. It will help you both by saving you time when updating content.

Big help for Internet Marketers.

Hi Garala, Thanks for stopping by!
Exactly!

The more often your website is updated, the more the search engines will visit you so adding a blog to a website is a great way to get more attention!

I love blogging, it challenges me to put myself out there and think of new content on a regular basis. I still have to get my feet down with the rest of the Internet Marketing – especially the marketing via other channels.

Hi Renee,

Me too. There’s so much to learn but I feel like I’m slowly getting there. I think creating regular content is one of the biggest problems I have. It seems like every time I write something; someone else has already written it.

It’s definitely a challenge to come up with a new spin on the same topics that other people are using. :)

Hi Sean,

I really enjoy blogging and it’s amazing to see the improvement in your ranking as you start to add more content, get more visitors and get some comments happening. :)

Hi Sean

There really is no reason not to have a blog. I love them. They are so interactive.
Blogs are so easy to add onto a website it is the logical way to go.
I am glad I didn’t entertain the thought of a static website. After all you can also put static elements on through pages so you get the best of both worlds .

Blogging is the easiest way to keep yourself up front and visible on the ‘net. Because of the changing content, the search engine seem to scan them more frequently than static web sites. A change on your blog will likely appear more quickly than a change you make to a static site.

So keep those blog articles coming.

I have blogs related to my websites – but this reminded me to go and check – would you believe one has a broken link!

I like blogs for some reason – better than Digg et al.

I never really saw the value of blogging until about a month ago as I was good at creating websites, but as you have mentioned the issue then become static content. As I embrace my Internet Marketing I have realised that I can combine my website creation skills with blogging and with more committment to freshness can acheive a lot better results!

Hi Sean

In the early stages of learning internet marketing and creating blogs we tend to forget that when we create a blog we are creating something that is ‘alive’ so to speak and will attract the attention of search engines and traffic if optomised correctly.

It’s like having a shop, people will be attracted by what you have to sell, but if you don’t replenish your stock, you will have nothing to sell and no customers.
