I have just spent a lot of time moving content over from a platform with an Internet Marketing program I had signed up with to Wordpress - it took a long time but was a necessity.

Now I am with Wordpress I would never go anywhere else (unless of course they close down)

Setting things up correctly in the first place is the key and so important as it is a time waster moving - having said that though, I did enjoy changing pictures and widgets and the look of the site.

The issue now though is there are lots of links which don't work in Google at the moment which I hope will be cleared out - I have seen that i can do that in Webmaster.....when I have the time :-)

I've used a variety of blogging platforms over the years. I started with the usual free ones: Google Blogger and Wordpress. Since then I have developed a few sites using the CMS packages Joomla and Drupal. I still have to build a site from scratch using Wordpress. No matter which system you use - Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla or others - be prepared to buy a good book that will take you step-by-step through the process. Online tutorials can be useful as well as the forums on the home sites for these packages. Flying by the seat of your pants with most of these systems will only result in frustration.

I don't think it is a hard decision to make - UWC uses Wordpress - so why would you go elsewhere - they have done all the hardwork for us!

Hi Sean

The only platform I know of is Wordpress. I find it easy now to use and I have read quite a lot of feedback about Wordpress and it has all been very positive. It is working for me and I am happy to stay with it and learn more about it.
