A lot of internet marketing experts suggest that instead of doing affiliate marketing on a bunch of products, you should master one niche at a time.
This a good strategy that can bring you a lot of results instead of your tirelessly working like a headless chicken on selling many affiliate products which is a bit like trying to throw a bunch of things at the wall and hope something sticks.
So, how do you know when you’ve mastered a niche so you can start something else?
There’s nothing set in stone but if you’re starting to make some decent passive income, perhaps it’s time to focus on developing a new niche as well. It’s wise to do something somewhat related to your mastered niche so that you can use that to your advantage with re-tooling some content or sharing link love between sites but that’s not essential. Learning something new and mastering a new segment could be invigorating and exciting for you.
Here are some new niche tips to consider:
- Don’t forget about your existing sites/products. If the passive income takes a dip, get on it straight away so you don’t lose rankings. Remember that there will constantly be people aiming to de-throne you if you’re reached the top of the search engine rankings, for instance. Stay on top of your stats so you don’t lose your foothold with your existing niche.
- The tactics you used to master a niche might not work with a new niche. Research is the best way to ensure you’re going to be successful. While certain social media channels might have worked well in your old niche, they might not be the same in your new niche so if you’re trying a lather, rinse, repeat set of tactics and they aren’t working at first, do some research before giving up.
- There are increasing opportunities and new affiliate programs coming up all the time so it’s a great idea to spread your wings a little. Don’t be afraid to go out on a limb. After all, like they say, that is where you’ll find the fruit!
Have a most outstanding day.
