I am glad you have said this. I have read about Google alerts a few times but havent started using it – it is in my to do list and sort of down the bottom as I have been unsure of its relevance and being unsure about putting another thing on the watch list.

Your post has given me more confidence to do this!

I frequently use Google Alerts when I’m researching a topics so it make good sense to use Google Alerts to check out your competition as well. I also use the service to see where my name, and the usupers of my good name, are showing up on the ‘net .

This is an extremely useful tool and all marketers should be employing it as part of their marketing toolkit.

Hi Jill,

It took me a while to start using Google Alerts and now I wouldn’t be without it. It saves me so much time by not having to chase around a bunch of different sites.

I can just look through my inbox.
