competitionIf you want to learn the secrets to your competition’s success, you need to analyse their moves.  Google Alerts can help you do that.  Use it to do keyword searches and to help you get hand delivered information about your niche and your customers.

Hi Sean,

I haven’t been using Google Alerts and I’ll have to make it a priority to start. I like to be informed about what my competitor’s are up to and this seems like a much easier option than chasing around after them. :)

It’s a great idea to keep an eye on your competition with google alerts – saves you to search for the news every day.

Hi Sean,
Google Alerts coming into my email in-box is handy rather than me searching and researching for information myself. Google is versatile with a variety of services offered and this is another great example.

Using Google Alerts to check my competition makes good sense.

Hi Jill,

It took me a while to start using Google Alerts and now I wouldn’t be without it. It saves me so much time by not having to chase around a bunch of different sites.

I can just look through my inbox.

Hi Jazz,
I am glad you have said this. I have read about Google alerts a few times but havent started using it – it is in my to do list and sort of down the bottom as I have been unsure of its relevance and being unsure about putting another thing on the watch list.

Your post has given me more confidence to do this!

Hi Sean

It is mind boggling the resources you have on hand and how lucky are we to get access to them.

I have just had a look at Google alerts and it is so clever. I can think of many uses for having that facility. (I was just telling my teenage son about it and he signed up straight away). Keeping my eye on the competition will be a cinch! All these gadgets are fun to play with!. Thankyou.

I frequently use Google Alerts when I’m researching a topics so it make good sense to use Google Alerts to check out your competition as well. I also use the service to see where my name, and the usupers of my good name, are showing up on the ‘net .

This is an extremely useful tool and all marketers should be employing it as part of their marketing toolkit.
