The Benefits of Establishing Patterns in SEO

seo-patternsSearch engine optimization happens when you optimize your website for sites like Google, MSN, Yahoo, and others. You need to work at this regularly if you want to achieve success and profitability online. It’s not something you should just do randomly, though.

When you do things on a regular basis to increase the incoming traffic to your website, you can start to see an increase in the profitability of your site.  Patterns can be a very good thing in terms of SEO.

Predictability is something that is actually good for your site because it’ll keep the search engines visiting regularly and that can help because:

The more often you update your website, the more often search engines will send their spiders to your site in order to see what’s new and if the search engines get accustomed to visiting you daily, you could get plenty of new traffic daily.

Patterns in your website optimization habits can improve your SEO and sales:

  • Always tag and categorize blog posts with relevant keywords
  • Consider performing at least one social marketing action on each new entry
  • Keyword optimize your blog posts
  • Research trends and news in your niche
  • Answer your comments
  • Visit blogs of commenters and leave a helpful comment

Establishing productive patterns in your own schedule can also help you increase your chances of online success.

Have a most outstanding day.

Hi Sean,

I really work on trying to learn how SEO works and being able to apply it effectively. I think my on-page SEO is getting better. My off-page SEO requires more effort but I’m trying to improve it.

It’s a work in progress and I’m constantly learning new information all the time.

Sean

I think I am getting at using SEO on my sites. I have tended to only use on the page SEO. I have been trying to turn that around with my fan pages.
I have set up feeds from my sites to the fan pages as well as I am able to post articles from one of my sites onto one of the fans fan pages.

I am looking at gearing this up if possible.

Establishing a pattern for SEO is a wonderful idea. Maybe have a checklist for when you write a new post. Before I knew nothing about SEO, I never even researched my keywords as it took too much time but just learning a few tecniques has improved my rankings with google.

I guess successful people always build the necessary habits. And the patterns you mention above are great habits to cultivate if you want to be successful with your online business. Tks for that.

The six points are habit forming – if you do them consistently – which is why I need a schedule to be up on my wall in front of me.

Have copied this into my list of notes – things to do.
