Thankyou for explaining in laymans terms what “anchor text” is. For anyone new to affilliate marketing all the terminology like anchor text, meta tags, SEO Optimisation etc etc just confuse the hell out of us…cheers Sean

This is excellent advice. I’ve really worked hard on understanding how anchor text and backlinks work but there’s always more to learn.

Well explained on how to use anchor text.
I anchor text within my sites. When I post a new article I will anchor text when there is a relevant post. So far when I post a new article the page will rank fairly well but it could be better if I had of been spending more time on external linking. I will address this.

Excellent article! Having an article of 250 words also helps with anchor text. I normally don’t use more than 3 anchor texts per article.
