Making Money From ClickBank

We’ve all heard those stories of affiliate marketers making thousands of dollars a week by selling products from ClickBank. All the money pours into their account faster than they could hope to spend it and they simply keep on selling more and more all the time.

Promoting Products

clickbankBut we have also heard the stories of people who join the site, try to sell a few things and never make a dime. Most people fall somewhere in the middle of those two extremes when it comes to being affiliate marketers, but unless you are one of the happy few who are really in the top league, you will want to try and increase your sales in some way.

The best way to do this is to look at what you are currently doing first. How much are you promoting these products? Are you really putting the most effort into it, or could you be doing a lot more to become a better affiliate marketer? The people who really are at the top of this particular money tree are always the ones putting in the most effort, so you’ll need to do that yourself if you want to climb even the hard to reach branches to be sitting up there with them.

The Next Step

The next step is to look at the actual products you are promoting. Are they the best sellers? Are they appropriate for your particular audience? Are they likely to bring you a large number of sales or only a few from time to time?

A big part of being a successful affiliate marketer with ClickBank is to work out what works for you. This site has plenty of useful pages on it, so read them all thoroughly and make the most of them. Being an affiliate marketer isn’t easy – but it can be a lot easier than you might think.

Have a most outstanding day.

Hi Sean,

There are so many products on Clickbank to choose from. I haven’t been successful at all with marketing my affiliate products from Clickbank. I am getting lots of clicks but no conversions.

I think I’m choosing popular products but I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I am going to try the suggestions you talked about in a previous post though and see how that goes.

Hi Sean

Becoming an affiliate with Clickbank is definitely on my marketing plan. I have a product that I have produced but needs a few more products and tweaking to create a niche market for it.

Once I get that established I will be looking to Clickbank for a product or products that compliment mine. That way I will be more enthusiastic about selling and promoting them.

This is a very good article for it’s information and to use as a checklist. Thankyou.

This bit from above almost says it all “The people who really are at the top of this particular money tree are always the ones putting in the most effort,”

It is what separates the big boys from the little leaguers.

Then what is needed is to see what works for me – as Sean says – and this can make a difference to the effort we put in to I suspect. If the product is one that you can’t relate to or doesn’t fit your plan then that in itself may discourage good and hard work to promote it.

It is relatively easy to find the best sellers on Clickbank, and an entirely different picture to being successful at selling them.

Like you said Sean, clickbank has plenty of useful pages on it.

So I will have to do some reading!

I have a Clickbank account and have browsed the site but never gone any further than that. Hopefully, following the Learn and Earn competition I’ll be in a better position to tackle the necessary steps to attempt affiliate marketing of some of the products on the site.

It’s very easy to get caught up in what the commission for an item is without fully researching the benefits and relevancy to your site – I have done this – smack my hand.

I have come to the realisation that if I want to be successful in what I am doing with my Internet Marketing that “just adding this” is not good enough and that I need to be more carfeul in what I am choosing to promote.
