analyticsYesterday we talked about the value in your website stats and how they can be keyword goldmines to help you with your SEO. If you’re not already using your stats, here are some ways to tap into that knowledge.

  • Google Analytics
  • MyBlogLog
  • Wordpress Stats
  • AWStats

Google Analytics

Google’s free tool is quick and easy to join and provides you with valuable infromation. If you want to do a PPC (pay per click) campaign, you can do it right from Analytics.

MyBlogLog

MyBlogLog is great for blogs because it’ll tell you for free how people are getting to your site and what they’re clicking on when they get there. There’s a free service that gives you limited info or you can upgrade to get more information for a fee. This site is great for social networking as well!

WordPress

If your blog is a Wordpress blog, you need to just go to your global dashboard to get more information to help you learn about your statistics.

Knowledge is power so getting as much knowledge as you can about your site or blog’s visitors can help you come up with an internet marketing strategy that can bring about great results.

Have a most outstanding day.

Hi Sean,

You’re right, checking our stats is invaluable if we want to make the most of our time and our blog. I think we need to use the stats to evaluate what’s working and capitalize on it.

We also need to use it to fix what isn’t working. I find it very exciting to check my stats as I’m always very happy to see any improvement.

I look at the stats at Wordpress and GA but didn’t realize you could do the same at MyBlogLog

Have to look at that

Hi Renee,

I didn’t know about MyBlogLog either. It’s amazing how much we do know and yet there’s always more to learn. The more we can learn about our readers and why they’re coming to our site; the better off we’ll be.

Hi Sean

I need to get some site stats on my blog and because I have wordpress I will go to the global dashboard and have a look.

After reading this article, I am better informed and know I need to be aware of who is coming to my site in order to develop a better market strategy as you say Sean.

I’ve used Google Analytics for a long time to get the stats on sites and blogs that I’ve have a direct relationship to. I was unaware of the availability of stats on MyBlogLog. I’ll have to look into that. Just amazing the information I’m coming across during Sean’s Learn and Earn Competition. My little notebook is getting quite full.

I recently installed two wordpress stats plugins and I was amazed to find what results it was giving me. I have just installed analytics on the site as well – so really looking forward to the collated information from there as well! I will also check out MyBLogLog – thankyou for that resource!
