Yesterday we talked about online networking clubs. Today we’ll explore ways for you to get involved in these types of exchanges. You can benefit in many ways by networking with social marketing sites and by getting involved in exchanges, you help a fellow marketer and they help you by linking to your sites, commenting on your blogs and using social bookmarking and networking tools to spread the word about your online entrepreneurial efforts.
Join a Social Media Club
There are online clubs and sites devoted to social media where you might have to do an hour worth of activity a month to help others. For your participation, you’ll get to submit URLs of your online homes to the effort and have others participate and give you some link love.
Create Your Own Networking Group
If you don’t see a suitable club, consider starting your own. Check on Yahoo Groups or MSN Groups as well as on online forums to start a club and promote for membership in some of your favourite social media tools. If you want to get involved just for a particular item you want to promote consider posting in a webmaster forum such as Digital Point forums and offer a Stumble or Digg exchange where marketers will scratch one another’s proverbial backs.
Have a most outstanding day.

Hi Sean,
I guess this is not something I’ve needed to do because I’m part of the YOTA forum. We all help and support each other and it’s a great place for building working relationships and friendships.
Jazz
Might help us, what do you think
Hi Gee,
It couldn’t hurt and everything is worth trying at least once.
The current version is probably the Facebook Fan pages. It’s social media, it’s a club in the club and I can start it for my niche. Ahh – more stuff to do …
Sure is Renee. He’s certainly us keeping us busy
I am so glad that I have joined the YOTA forum as everyone seems so willing to help each other out (scratch the backs). It is a very supportive environment and there have been some great systems put in place to help us help each other!
I have found a whole new world I didnt know existed.
Hi Sean
Ditto to Leigh above, I too have found a whole new world. It is very important to network and with computer technology today it is easier than ever by using Skype, Webinars, teleconferences, MSN, Facebook and then all the social sites like Digg, Twitter etc.
I feel really blessed because we YOTA people have a really fantastic network which is steadily growing, plus the team is there already with yourself, Yang and the moderators all ready to support and cheer everyone on.
I like the fact that we are now forming groups and can travel to our closest city to meet up physically and discuss ideas, questions, and help each other. Now that is priceless.
Digital point forums look like a good stepping stone out into the big wide world so I will go have a look at that. Thankyou Sean for our wonderful YOTA forum.
I have never really been involved with online networking clubs. I just had a quick look at the Digital Point forums and have bookmarked it for further consideration. The Digital Point forums are extremely active. When I was checking out the site there were over 1,500 online. It certainly looks like a good location to get information and assistance on a lot of topics relating to Internet Marketing.
Thanks for pointing out this resource.
What potential for everyone to help each other. Thankyou for the link to the Digital Point Forum. I want to stay focused on the bigger picture than just getting my sites out there!
