Yesterday we talked about whether you can handle more than one blog. Well, after you’ve decided to start a few and have been bitten by the blogoholic bug, you can really take advantage of this. Using your many blogs to benefit your other blogs can be very beneficial. Here are some tips for using the blogosphere to your advantage:
Blog Link Love Tips
- Link to your other blogs in the blogroll on each of your blogs
- Refer to your other blogs in blog posts and link to those posts with anchored long tail key phrases
- Add widgets with your blogs listed in them and links to your other online efforts (such as Squidoo lenses, Hubpages and ezinearticles) to dress up your blogs.
- Add link love to your blogs by linking to them in HubPages, Squidoo lenses and on your other social networking sites, too.
- Comment on your various blog posts but using your links for OTHER blog addresses.
As you can see, blogging doesn’t just offer you the ability to get a message out but it also enables you to improve your SEO, give yourself link love, create multiple-way linking strategies for other articles and websites and gives you the ability to monetize your sites. If you’re not yet blogging, get started immediately! Not only do you have the option of doing your own WordPress blog but there are countless free blogging plaforms as well as blog add-ons to other services you use such as MySpace and Stumbleupon.
Happy Blogging!
Have a most outstanding day.

Hi Sean,
Nice article, this seems to be the day I am finding a lot of information about links.
I was search for information about “Love Links” and came across this and I need all the help I can get right now. My blog is just over two months old now and I am starting to see a great improvement in traffic. With tips like this, it really helps.
Thanks much,
Dave…
Links play a huge part of SEO Dave. You are doing the right thing by learning all you can about them and the different strategies you can apply. All the best.

You are doing really well if you are getting good traffic after 2 months
Sean
Please clear this up for me.
Are you saying you can have links to your other blogs even if they aren’t related?
Same with linking between the blogs. Surely wouldn’t they need to be related?
Exactly the question I was wondering about. It can’t hurt as people have many interests as well as the reasons they come to your blog in the first place.
Hi Sean,
I try to link all of my sites to each other and back to my main site. I see this as not just a way to get backlinks but also as a way to direct traffic from various sites to the main site I want them to look at.
Thanks for your question Gee, I would like to know how to link blogs successfully, that are unrelated.
Sean said, “If you’re not blogging yet, Get started immediately” Yes Sir!! Sean,
I’m still a little confused about this though. Do I find a niche first and blog about that? If that hasn’t happened yet, do I blog about anything and use my YOTB to blog, on this blog site, about anything that may not be related to my niche?
What to do………….
Very clever. I did have my other blog on my blogroll, but didn’t refer with links in the posts between them. What an oversight on my site … Also haven’t involved my Squidoo pages (yet). Lots more link love to go around here
Hi Sean
I find this article of great value and have saved the URL for later down the line.
At this stage I am building one blog and would like to do that successfully, but I will certainly implement these linking ideas as I go along.
Thanks Sean
Hi Sean,
Now I will have to go and link all my sites, I had done only a couple but after reading this article I will go and link them all I have, you see I have taken note of the blog link love tips.
SEO link love for yourself is an excellent idea. I’ve utilised that for quite awhile now on my main two blogs and I plan to do it as well for a couple websites/blog I’m developing for a charity and a peace organization. It seems to help out with the SEO.
Although I already am doing most of these I never actually blogged about my other blogs and will have to do that now. Such a simple and seemingly obvious concept but we sometimes get so caught up in creating a separate name for ourselves that we don’t realize we’re the same person.
Thanks for your blogging benefits and I will go find some seo link love for myself now.
I have occasionally made reference to my other blogs and with a link – but never on a consistent basis. I have started to use my blogroll for this now – wouldn’t have if it wasn’t for the L & E comp!
I am very excited to read that I have been doing some of these points above with blogs which I have. I also have some parked sites which I have some flexibility over so it has been great to realise that the link love I have been setting up between them is beneficial and along the gurus guidelines!
