Great, tips. I been doing a lot of SEO/SEM in the past and I was pretty sure I know everything about this field but with your article I realized you can still teach new tricks to old dogs. I'll be reading your other posts.

I am new to blogging but already have got spammy comments on a site that isnt really doing anything as yet. I would hate to think what a popular blog has to put up with! Again it comes down to being genuine with people and they will respond with the same respect.

Hi Sean,
I was a little off topic in the previous comment. It is more to do with article directories that my friend came into difficulty with.

I have learned the value of receiving a worthy comment on a blog and would like to repeat the guidelines received by our YOTA friend, Year Of The Dove: "If your comment is adding value to the other persons blog with ethics, honesty and integrity then you are doing a worthwhile comment for them.

Whether you are knowledgeable or not about the topic is fine as the reason we go to people's site is to learn something new. To thank the author and allow them to know what you have learnt or what has benefited you personally is a good comment. We all like a pat on the back for efforts well utilized.

A question you can ask yourself also is - Would I like the comment on my own personal blog? If the answer is yes, then press the submit button" End Of Quote. Thanks Dove.
