SEOSearch Engine Optimisation is something that you want to pay attention to as often as possible because it can dramatically increase your profitability. But from a productivity standpoint, it can seem exhausting at times.

Here are three helpful SEO Tools that you can use to monitor and improve your search engine optimisation.

Page Rank Checker

If you want to know where you stand, you can check out: http://prchecker.info to get a rating for any URL. You can also add a browser plug-in at Mozilla FireFox so that you can see the PR of a page when you visit it in your browser. This site also offers a free widget that lets you demonstrate your page rank on your website.

Be aware that if there are Google updates and your site’s page rank is downgraded, your widget will update automatically and it’s not always a good idea to list a PR0 badge on your website.

Keyword Map

http://kwmap.net is a keyword search tool that gives you laterally related topics. If you’re trying to optimise your site, knowing what the web might see as laterally related words can be very helpful.

Entering a main keyword can also help you identify potential sub niches for you. This type of tool can be great for inspiring ideas for website content and article marketing as well.

Keyword Analysis

SEOhttp://live-keyword-analysis.com/ can help you determine your keyword density for up to 3 keywords from a document. This can be important when you’re trying to hit a certain %. A lot of SEO experts don’t recommend that you simply try to strive for a keyword density but if you’re worried your density is too high and could get a page flagged as spam, this tool can be helpful in that respect as well.

You’ll find a plethora of free SEO tools online as well that are proprietary to certain search engine marketing companies or free to SEO blog subscribers as well. You can find tools that help you generate your robots.txt file, make your site a sitemap, analyse your competitors’ keywords, plus a wide range of other services.

Have a most outstanding day.

I am always fascinated how many great tools are out there, free to use. Thanks for your suggestions. I really like the keyword map, as it gives me micro niches and related terms to use in my articles.

There are certainly loads of great tools out there Renee. My suggestion would be to find a few that suit you best and stick with them as using too many is likely to complicate the issue ;-)

Hi Sean’

I like the idea of using Keyword Map for sub niches. I have just brought up the map and been typing main keyword ideas in and it really is a neat little thing, I just have to learn to understand it better.

There are so many wonderful tools on the net. Would Market Samurai have the same facility as Keyword Analysis tool?

Thanks for this great information.

You are a wealth of knowledge Sean. I will certainly be putting to use these 3 seo tools especially the page rank checker and keyword map tools. I have always wondered how to find where my page ranks for certain keywords when I can’t find it on the first couple of pages.
