As far as lifestreaming tools go, MyBlogLog is one of my favourites. It is a blog directory that’s now owned by Yahoo! that’s a blog traffic stats program, directory, and lifestreaming tool all rolled into one.
And the best thing about it is that you don’t have to maintain anything once it’s set up because it does this for you. Anyone who logs into MyBlogLog can see the stream of their friends. The great thing is that people don’t have to go in and update their status as the tool pulls information from all the other services you use so people can see:
- A new list of blog posts on every blog in your list as the blogs are posted
- Twitter updates
- Social bookmarking actions
Lifestream Services
Some of the services included are: Digg, Yahoo Answers, YouTube, Technorati, MySpace, Magnolia, Reddit, Last.Fm, Google Calendar, Friendster, Blogger and more than a dozen other services as well so anything you want to share, you can. As you can see, it makes it easy to share information and see what people in your stream are doing as well.
MyBlogLog Widget
Beyond the extra traffic to your blog there’s also the MyBlogLog widget which can provide a feed of all your social media updates wherever you post it so this shares your activities with the world which can help drive traffic where you want it and get attention for your online activities. You can share what’s going on with you as well as in your neighbourhood of friends so participating with this tool can help you several ways in terms of getting online attention (which is what social media is all about!)

Hi Sean
I am in Boglog but didn’t realize it could do all this other stuff as well. Great
Hi Sean,
I haven’t been using MyBlogLog as yet. I was trying not to spread my time too thinly. But, MyBlogLog is really very well set up. I love that I don’t have to do status updates but rather it will automatically pull the information from the social media sites I’m using.
I’m going to have to sign up for MyBlogLog as you can do some really cool stuff with it.
I’m going to have to really have a look at it closely. I am finding I am thinking about all sorts at the moment, but if it can pull info in from elsewhere that will really help a lot.
Does it have feeds from all these other sites? If so that will be perfect
MyBlogLog is well worth checking out Gee, I am sure you will find it beneficial.
