Hi Sean,

Right now, I don’t feel like I need to pay for those things except for pay per click advertising. Pay per click is something that I’ve been learning about with the intent that I will start using it sometime soon.

Apart from that though, I get everything I need from the forum. There really is no better place to learn how to be a successful Internet Marketer.

I guess I want to see some money coming in before I go on bigger spending. Not sure if that is a paradox and if I do need to invest to get the sales, but I think there are so many options where I “only” need to invest time instead of money, so I will start with these first.

Renee

I am like you. I need to be putting the free strategies in place that are contained in this blog. Once that is done I will reassess.

Hi Guys,

I agree. I think we should always use the free stuff first so we don’t go into debt.

Hi Sean

My biggest and best investment I have made is the forum and the IMPOTY home study. The Forum is so rich with information and support that I know I can monetise my blog, affiliate market and build leveraged cash multiplier sites without any extra expense at this stage.

I also have Market Samurai for Keyword research and the forum is run and moderated by people who are professional Internet Marketers who all want us to succeed. I am very rich already!

Being a good ol’ Linux user and open source advocate I strongly believe in investing my time and as little of my money as possible to make money online. Now my “nearly-Scottish” ancestry may also have something to do with that. :)

I must confess that I’ll occasionally lay out a bit of cash to buy a howto book on some technical topic. And of course, there are the domain names and hosting costs.

It is so easy to create good looking web sites using freely available content management systems such as Wordpress, Drupal and Joomla that it shouldn’t be necessary for most Marketers to purchase design assistance.

When it comes to SEO, there are so many resources available – such as this one – that a little bit of searching and reading or participation in events such as the “Learn and Earn” competition should allow virtually anyone to develop sufficient SEO skills to get them on the first page of Google.

So that brings us down to books and PPC as possible reasons to lay out the cash in your quest to generate money online.

But then again, I’m almost Scottish, eh? :)

Hi Don,

I’m with you. I don’t think it’s necessary to spend money to learn how to make money online. At least not in the beginning. There is so much great free information out there.

If you make a commitment to exhaust all of the free information before you begin to pay for any; it’ll help you avoid being scammed. All the free information also lets you get to know some of these people before you decide to pay for a course.

Hi Sean , it seems ironic that it’s not necessary to spend a fortune to learn a wide range of strategies on how to create passive income streams like internet marketing , but it seems that most of us do .

I paid for a program last year which was the end of a bushy pineapple and caused great distress and distrust in the Internet Marketing business and i nearly gave up! Was not happy Jan! Through the process I stayed subscribed to Sean’s self named blog and clicked a few articles to read. I had some success a few months ago with a strategy I was using and stayed networked with some friends from the yucky program I was in as we were supporting each other. I am glad I did as I have now subscribed to Sean’s Internet Marketing program and so far have been very happy with the information and teaching – I am glad I have paid for this service!
