With Thanksgiving in the U.S people around the world might be considering what they’re thankful for. In internet marketing, there are a lot of things to be thankful for. Let’s look at a few of them:
Google lets us earn, lets us be found and puts a world of free information at our fingertips. Yay Google! It really did change the way the internet works and the free available Google tools make being an internet entrepreneur even more profitable.
Social Marketing
Social marketing tools are free to use and help us spread the word about our product or service. They also let us mentor and be mentored to. Tools like MySpace, FaceBook, Twitter, Digg and other social tools can make our online pursuits much easier to do well at.
The Blogosphere
We can blog to be found, to find information and to sell products and services. Whether you use a free hosted blog, a revenue shared blog or create a blog of your own, this is a great tool for SEO, for social marketing and for internet marketing.

Hi Sean,
This is an excellent list of things to be thankful for. I think it’s really important for us to be grateful for the things we have in our life. It helps me to have that positive mindset I need to be successful and it helps me to attract more of the things that I want in my life.
Also, I think we need to be grateful for the setbacks because they help us to grow and develop our character. They’re a part of life and it’s how we deal with them that determines the level of our success.

I can remember when Google wasn’t a verb, when the closest thing to social networking was your local Bulletin Board Service, and if someone had said ‘blogosphere’ you’d think they were talking about a gas bubble over a swamp.
I come from the days of gopher, ftp, irc, usenet, arcnet, banyan vines, etc. and all those other arcane and ancient technologies. I must admit I’m really, really thankful for the advances that have been made over the last 20 years in online technologies. Life has become so much simpler for finding information, connecting and communicating with people. Something to give thanks for.
I am fully embracing Google with their free tools as they are just fantastic to use. Sometimes I wonder if I am relying on it too much as they bite can be nasty – but if you do the right thing you shouldn’t get bitten. The Social Marketing side of things I have been flirting on the side – but now are becoming very active and are enjoying it and the blogosphere – well I have started blogging and are enjoying it – I didnt think I would…..but I have amazed myself!
