Internet MarketingWith how much money there is to be earned online, you’d think people would be keeping all sorts of secrets. Of course there are secrets to success and tricks of the trade but in reality, Internet Marketing is one of the most generous areas you’ll find in terms of getting free information.

You can delve into online marketing and find out everything you need to know for getting started. One thing you’ll find is running rampant in the world of Internet Marketing is paying it forward.

Are You A Great Online Citizen?

Paying things forward is a great internet marketing philosophy. In fact, it’s a great life philosophy where those who have gained something from others act philanthropically as often as possible so that they can try to share that with others.

If someone has helped you as an internet marketing mentor, and helped you without a cost, you could make sure you pay it forward to someone else. In terms of life value, this is a good idea and in terms of a way to run your online business, this is also going to help you in many ways.

Integrity and personality are important, today more than ever in online commerce. If you’re seen as an individual with a high level of integrity who helps others, people will be much more likely to trust you enough to buy from you.

Knowing you care about others and care about being a credit to the Internet Marketing industry will also put you in a positive light with other people who could be an asset to your business as well.

How Do You Pay It Forward?

If you help anyone that needs your Internet Marketing help wherever you can, you’ll most certainly make some great online friendships. This has the potential to benefit you in many ways. So many people agree that the Internet is a very social place and those who are popular socially can sell more products and experience greater success.

This might mean answering a question from a newbie, re-tweeting a link on Twitter, linking to someone on your blog and sending them traffic (even if you’re both in similar niches), providing tips and tricks to others for free and participating in social discussions trying to bring value to those discussions and sharing information that’s helpful to anyone that wants it.

Customers love this quality in a company because they deem it as buying products and services that have value.

Tips:

  • Visit a mentoring forum or site and give out great advice.
  • Give a free and helpful report or another bonus out to your customers.
  • Take someone under your wing and show them the ropes.
  • Share some link love with people who seem like great netizens.

In terms of the law of attraction, paying good stuff forward really will help you attract positivity in virtually every area of your life!

Have a most outstanding day.

I am starting to do this with my fan page.
I am enjoying it and hopefully I can help someone not to fall into the traps like so many others.

Hi Sean,

I’d like to do this when I’m successful as I think it’s important to give back.

Hi Jody,

That’s a great attitude to have. I think it’s awesome that you’ll share your knowledge with anyone willing to ask for help. It’s a great way to pay forward your internet marketing knowledge. :)

There has been some great examples of paying it forward in this internet marketing competition. I have had some extra help from some of my new buddies and would like to think something I’ve done and said has helped someone else in turn.

I don’t have a lot of internet marketing knowledge yet myself, Jody but that aspect to paying it forward will be coming into play down the track. Maybe even sooner than I think!

It’s funny – I have so much fun with the stuff I have learned that I tend to talk about it a lot – which already brought me the first victim to paying forward my internet knowledge.

I know that I still have heaps to learn, but it is really fun to share the bit of knowledge I have already.

I’m a big believer in paying forward, so I have no qualms about paying forward my Internet Marketing knowledge, even if it is in its budding stage. I’ve been doing my best to help friends involved in charities and peace organizations develop and promote their websites. I find it quite satisfying being at that stage of life where I can pass on a helping hand and hopefully some knowledge.

I used to think Paying It Forward was common courtesy, whether it was paying it forward your Internet marketing knowledge or letting someone with less items go in front of you at the grocery store. I grew up and realized that although karma is a witch some people still test it and charge for something they got for free.

Although earning money is great – we have to pay the bills some how – earning respect, customers and friends is something you do when you pay it forward.

Which is why I asked so many people to join Sean’s Learn and Earn Competition as I know my websites are going to be the best they can be with so much competition online.

You don’t necessarily have to pay it forward the same gift that was given to you. It can take any form.

Though one thing I have learned is you cannot pay anything forward unless you willingly accept the pay it forward gift you were given.

Well, this comp is a great example of paying it forward.

No matter what stage we are at – newbie, intermediate or guru – we can always share what we have learned, earned or garnered in during our journey.

If we save someone time and help them avoid some if the pitfalls we have experienced, it is a worthwhile exercise.
