Increasing Website TrafficWhen you have developed your website or blog and used good internet marketing strategies to attract a lot of online traffic, there may come a time when you reach a plateau. You may have built up a good number of visitors per day but you are not seeing numbers increase.

This is the perfect time to do something extraordinary to start Increasing Website Traffic and make a greater profit. Let’s examine some creative internet marketing ideas that will help your site rise from that plateau.

YouTube Videos

YouTube videos are an extremely good way of increasing traffic to your website. Even if you have never created online videos before, you can easily put together some content to post on YouTube.

Because the site is so popular, your own site can benefit from the large amount of  website traffic via links and the utilisation of keywords in meta tags and descriptions. If you find you have a real knack for creating videos and post a lot of top-rated content, you could be eligible to enter an affiliate partnership with YouTube, boosting your site’s earnings potential.

Yahoo Answers

Here’s a no-cost way to start Increasing Website TrafficYahoo Answers. Simply visit the site, scroll through the list of questions awaiting answers, and write one that is likely to be chosen as best by the asker.

Your profile contains a link to your URL and you might occasionally add a reference link to get visitors access your site. There are so many topics in Yahoo Answers that you are bound to find several you can respond to with authority – and create some good link juice.

Add An Interactive Feature

Another way to draw in more visitors is to add an interactive feature to your website or blog. Create an online forum or chat room. Consider starting a contest for subscribers or members with voting to determine the winner – this encourages some healthy competition and revisiting your URL often to check on the status of entries.

Increasing Website Traffic With Special Offers

Treat your current customers or subscribers to something special to show your appreciation. You could base this offer on the requirement of having your list sign up a certain number of new subscribers or social bookmarking your posts, i.e. with five new sign-ups, a customer receives a complimentary e-book, a discount on future purchase, or free shipping on their next order. Perhaps you just offer them a free product. This really “wows” your customers and also drives a great deal of new website traffic.

Link Badge

Use your logo and create a link badge – a piece of HTML code your subscribers or customers can add to their own site with a link to your URL. Good design is important to encourage people to install the code. You could also offer a freebie of some kind in exchange for posting the link. Not only does this give you a greater chance of increasing website traffic, it also helps your subscribers or members feel like they are part of a cohesive, branded community.

When your website traffic has reached a plateau, don’t despair. Use your imagination and creativity to come up with new ways of Increasing Website Traffic and keep your visitors coming back for more.

Have a most outstanding day.

YouTube.com is a wonderful resource for building website traffic. This website is one of my primary resources for marketing one of my websites, and has helped significantly in driving traffic to an all-time high of 150,00 visitors per month in less than two years.

Hi Sean,

Increasing website traffic is a constant concern. These are all excellent ideas and I’m using a couple of them at the moment. I need to build on what I’m currently doing and maybe it’s time to do something different.

Hi Sean,
I like the ideas you have on setting up a link badge. It’ll take time however the benefits are real. How do I find out more about code etcetera, concerning this idea?

Also, the creative juices are flowing and simply by knowing about Yahoo Answers. What a great idea! I will definetely be using this as a way to boost online traffic when it plateau’s.

Great article packed full of knowledge for learning. Thank-you Sean.

Thanks Sean,

I love reading your posts & getting all this free information, there is so much of it I struggle to implement it all & continue to participate in the competition at the same time.

I just checked out Yahoo answers after reading your tips to find that there are a huge amount of people asking specific questions that my website has answers for… very excited as you can imagine!
