We recently talked about how forums can be valuable for you in terms of networking, building SEO, finding gigs and building your online reputation. Here are some forums that internet marketers might like to visit:
Warrior Forum: A great place to not only find out everything you might want to know about internet marketing but the WSO (warrior special offer) provides you with a place to buy and sell products related to the world of internet marketing. This forum is a goldmine of information for novices and for pros in the world of internet marketing.
SitePoint: This is a great resource for everything related to websites. Looking to get design and programming tips, talk about advertising and SEO or flip your website in the classfieds section? This is a great resource.
DigitalPoint Forums: Digital Point, known as DP is a popular internet marketing and webmaster forum.
V7 Network: Another internet marketing / SEO / webmaster community
Forum Etiquette
Here are a few forum etiquette tips so you can enjoy the forum experience and not find yourself banned.
- Understand linking, posting and advertising policies. Read the terms of service to be sure
- Stay away from flame wars where people are arguing and debating if possible. Not a good idea to join a new forum and get into heated arguments
- Introduce yourself
- Add value to the conversations
- Follow standard netiquette (CAPS MEANS SHOUTING, etc.)
Have a most outstanding day.

Hi Sean,
Thank-you for the list of forum sites you recommend we visit. The Warrior Forum is the only one on your list that I actually visit. I will definitely check out the other ones though.
Hi Sean
I am a member of the Warrior Forum but wasn’t sure if it was very good so haven’t really used it. I will use it now as you are recommending it.
I will check out the other ones as well. So many resources where do I start?
Hi Sean
Wow! you are a mine of information! I am so amazed at the resources you have given us. Everything I have read is so valuable. I have been saving all the URL’s I have posted during the competiton and writing comments next to many of them with a little explanation of what little (and big) gems are within so I can collate them and have my own online article directory that I have actually read already plus all the links etc that you have given us.
Forums are valuable indeed and I appreciate the list of forum ettiquette which is very good advice. Thankyou Sean.
I have been only an intermittent participant in Warrior Forum, but I can and will get more into it.
Having the referrals to those others provides good alternatives, or extras if you like.
Might jump onto WF now and see what’s happening.
Forums – the descendants of the old Bulletin Board Systems. This type of venue has always been useful for connecting with people.
Sean has provided a couple good lists. The first is useful forums for the Internet Marketer. The second is a list of standard operating procedures for participating in a form. Read them both and pay attention.
Thankyou so much for these links and the etiquette for forum use. I am about to embark on my forum jounrey so being able to play the game nicely and within the rules is crucial.
