Content is king online. It brings you traffic via search engines, it brings you customers via pre-selling and direct selling, and it builds your brand and reputation. But, what should you write about when you create Online Content?

Online ContentWriting website content, blog posts, and articles can help you and here are some tips to help you figure out:

How content can help you.

What can you write about.

Website Content

Beyond a landing page that directs people to various parts of your website, various content pages are important. Writing about your company and about your products is a good idea. Information and keyword rich pages will definitely help you with your SEO.

Product information pages and helpful articles related to your niche market are a great idea from a foot traffic perspective as well. Consider writing a features and benefits page for each of your products, case studies from past customers, customer testimonials, and helpful articles that help your existing customers as well.

Do you do a newsletter? Consider putting archives of your newsletter on your website as this will help people interested in reading the information and will drive search engine traffic to your site as well. Making your Online Content keyword rich (while also useful to readers) will benefit you in many ways!

Blog Posts

Write blog content about your latest products, about your promotion, to solicit feedback from your customers, and to spread news about the benefits of your product. Search engines love blogs because they’re updated regularly and if you do blogging well, it is also very interactive.

People will visit your blog and subscribe to it and they may link to it from other sites as well. This can help your website get more traffic and you can link to other pages of your site from your blog so you that you can increase the possibility of selling something to a blog visitor.

Articles

Posting articles on other websites about your products and the benefits of using them could drive traffic back to your site. Search engines will count any links on another site as a popularity link (which could increase your site’s rankings and indexing) and people visiting the sites that publish the articles may also visit the link.

Ideas For Online Content Are Everywhere!

If you want ideas on what to make blog posts, Online Content, and articles about, consider what questions people have about your product, consider what you’d like to know if you were considering buying what you’re selling and write articles that answer those questions.

Consider searching through article directories on your topic to see what other people are writing about. This can inspire some fresh topics and fresh spins on your topic. Look through your website analytics to see where traffic is coming from and answer the questions people ask that bring them to your site.

If you haven’t posted content to your sites lately, now is a great time to sit down and start planning for some new and fresh content. It could bring you new traffic and new profits!

Have a most outstanding day.

Yes, there are ideas everywhere. One thing I always try to do is check out Google News and see what stories are getting a lot of exposure. There’s almost always something there that will motivate me to express my opinion. And if I include keywords from those stories (for instance the names of the people, cities and towns included in articles) in the post titles, my blog usually ends up on page one for a few long tail keyword searches, bringing in some good surges of traffic.
