offlinemarketingOnline businesses are constantly competing with one another. If you want top spot in search engines, you need to have very aggressive SEO and marketing efforts and if you want lots of PPC traffic, you’re going to pay the big bucks.  But, if you bring some offline potential customers online, you can skip the competition part and get them right to your website. Offline promotion for your online business is a very good idea!

Tips to get offline potential customers online

Doing some offline marketing for your online business can bring customers straight to your webpage, eliminating the other contenders competing in your niche.   How do you get these offline people to your site?

  • Offline classified ads such as newspapers and local newsletters that will let you put in a sponsored ad.
  • Advertise with signage on your car so every time you’re out and about you’re getting potential customers to visit your site (a catchy URL can help!) .
  • Posting bulletins in your community
  • Dropping flyers on cars at the mall
  • Cold calling local businesses

Approaching your local target audience is a great way to get some online sales and you will probably be more profitable due to the lack of competition and lack of advertising fees as well.

Have a most outstanding day.

Excellent comments, some other suggestions I have are small promotional gifts, not necessarily high cost but items that will catch the eye. There are so many different options for business promotional items that should have similar events as dropping flyers at the mall but perhaps can be more targeted to the required customer. One other thought is perhaps corporate gift ideas for businesses that you deal with that can in turn promote your business or if you have a large sales team some form of promotional merchandise that gives them an incentive to reach higher sales therefore producing more customers? I like the ideas above and hope my suggestions also give someone a boost to increase their customer base.
Thanks

Hi Sean,

This is something I’ve been thinking about doing. I have a few places in mind where I can get direct access to my target audience. But, I been unsure about making the leap.

Thanks for some great suggestions. I will check all of them out and see what happens.
