What to do when you hit a milestone or goal in internet marketing? The road to success is paved with challenges and rewards and the number of successes you achieve can be determined, in part, by how you handle your successes.
Celebrate
There’s nothing wrong with celebrating the arrival of a goal or milestone. In fact, you should celebrate reaping the rewards of your hard work! When you get your first ClickBank cheque or hit a specific number of hits per month on your website, go ahead and kick up your heels. You’ve worked hard for it! Don’t celebrate for too long though and whittle away your profits! Keep reading…
Assess
It’s a good idea to try to figure out what you’re doing right. That way you can capitalize on your success. Analyse your statistics and look at your customer demographic and figure out how you’ve hit those milestones so you can continue to grow your business.
Set Your Next Goal
Complacency is a success killer so don’t let it get to you! As soon as you hit a goal, set your sights on a new goal. With continued goal setting exercises, you’ll learn new and useful skills along the way and have an increased chance of more success in the future.

Hi Sean,
So far I’ve only had small successes to celebrate but I’m very much looking forward to the day when I get my first big success. Hopefully, that will happen sometime very soon.
I have found the forum community I am involved in are very good at celebrating the members little successes.
It helps confidence
Small successes are great motivators, but I still have to sit down and make my milestone list – so I don’t forget to celebrate when it is due
Hi Sean
I have no problem setting higher and higher goals. I do this constantly with time management charts and monthly planning. I always have a new goal in sight and have a completion date set for every one.
I have not stopped to celebrate my milestones. I am good at celebrating other people’s but I just seem to keep going when it comes to me. Reached one goal, great, on to the next one! . Well not anymore. I can see how important it is to give myself that nurturing and little pat on the back now and then.
Hi Sean,
For a while I didn’t think I was achieving anything. Then I took a look and accessed where I was before, and what I have achieved now, and my progress has been steady.
I have learnt so much more than I realised. So I am celebrating my successes.
Hey Jazz small success is great! I had a huge colgate smile when my first clickbank cheque arrived a month later from the US for a grandsome of $132.67! I smiled for hours and took photos and copied it and its in a fle next to my computer. I also celebrated heavily

Hi Jody,
That’s an awesome result. You’re doing a great job. It won’t be long before you have massive success. It’s great that you celebrate your small successes. It’s a great way of manifesting more success.
I still have to wait for such a celebration – I want it to be because of consistency in earning – my first CB cheque just went to pay bills!
Bernadette has just shown me how to do smileys on here from my keyboard
As with any project, you should set goals and milestones in your Internet Marketing. Don’t be afraid to adjust the milestones to reflect the reality of what is happening and of course, always do an analysis whether or not you achieved the milestone according to your schedule.
And don’t forget to celebrate when you achieve each milestone and reach that goal.
Me? Well I’ll just sip on a wee dram of single malt.
My adsense deposit arrived today – I bought my son a computer game to celebrate (the rest will be reinvested)! It is a good feeling and finally getting reward for the hardwork puts a lovely smile on your face!
My plan – I’m building my empire! I’m learning as much as I can and I know already I have had more success this month in adsense which has made me more happy!
Does success really worth celebrating? Can you really be contented with your achievement? If these questions have positive answers then the world will never need a paradise. We will always set another goal, then why celebrate? We can never overcome goals that is why it has a common name in all languages. Lets just concentrate in setting other goals. Thanks I love you all, I love this forum.
