Is Your Internet Business Becoming Too Much Like Hard Work?

Take a minute to step back and think about your internet business for a moment. Are you still enjoying it? Does it make you look forward to getting onto your computer and seeing how much money you made during the night?

Change your perspective

Make Money OnlineOr have you been lacking in that excitement of late? If you have, then now is the time to do something about it.

Just because you have chosen to get involved in an internet business under your own steam, that doesn’t necessarily mean that you won’t go through phases of feeling a little bogged down and bored with what you are doing.

The Great News

The great news is that you can change things under your own steam as well – you don’t have to wait for a boss to come along and give you permission. To begin with, think about what it is you are bored with. All internet businesses have some dull aspects – like keeping records for example. There’s isn’t much you can do about that, although you can at least break it down into small and manageable chunks to do every now and again, rather than putting it all off until it becomes unmanageable.

By identifying what part of your internet business now seems like it involves too much effort, you can take steps to do something about it. If you’ve been slogging away trying to promote a new product for three months and you are beginning to dread doing it again, then don’t do it. Drop it and move on to something else.

The whole idea of having your own internet business is that you are able to enjoy making money, especially if it’s now your full time occupation. So don’t fall into old habits of settling for something you don’t like – shake it up instead!

Have a most outstanding day.

Hi Sean,

I think it’s awesome being your own boss because you can change it up whenever you get a little jaded. Also, couldn’t we just outsource the things we really didn’t like doing?

Yes Jazz you can do that. Do the sums an see if it is viable.

I have taken the decision to outsource some article writing. I enjoy the formatting of the article ready for publishing rather than the article writing itself.

I also have just setup some fan pages and am loving the interaction especially as the topics seem to be in demand

Hi Sean

I would love to have that problem Sean. I have never been bored making money. In fact I don’t get bored very often.

I love the fact that I can work formyself, be as creative as I want to be and if I want to work 2 or 20 hours a day I can.

With paper work or the accounting side of it, I would give it to a book keeper to do. That way I can be more time efficient working on my business.

Yes Elly – I look forward to the day when I can afford to outsource all the things I don’t like doing and have more fun with the good ’stuff’!

I started looking into Internet Marketing just in case there was a chance I might get bored with retirement. And I think I might have a bit of time each week that I have to fill up. So why not Internet Marketing. Of course, it has meant cutting down on my sleep time. :)

But seriously folks, as the article states, you are now your own boss and can reorganize how you are approaching things as often as you want so there really is no excuse for becoming bored.

I would love to be generating the income be able to outsource a lot of tasks to have my internet marketing empire grow larger! I slow my time management down by checking adwords too often during the day :-) – so the passion is there for making the money!
