    I use Google Keyword Tools when researching keywords and phrases. Until now I’d bypassed the analytics function, mainly because of not knowing enough about the tools proper functions.

    I’m becoming more familiar with the website stats and gaining knowledge on how to best use them.

  4. Sean, Google keyword tool is great, I would add this: I always sign up to my Google Adword account first before I conduct keyword research. I find the quality of the results superior and not limited to 100 keywords results.

    I’ve also discovered that Google Webmaster Tool can be used as an analytics tool too. It tells me how many impressions for my websites Google is showing and for which keywords: to me that’s priceless.
