Thanks Sean – given the fact that you can have three adsense blocks on a page this gives you the flexibility to put one there as well – with the trick being not to make you page like it is just full of ads

It does make sense Jayne, the unfortunate thing is that many people don’t actually get to the bottom of the page. It can be a good idea to have Adsense in both spots if that is your sole source of website monetisation

Adding value to the web is really important and giving your reader a sense of value for taking the time to read your article is important…..however as mentioned, you don’t want to give everything away in your article or they won’t need to go and hunt for any more information.

Most people say to put your adsense block up in the top LH side in a square box format, but doesnt it make more sense to have them down the bottom so that when the reader gets to the end of your article they can just click instead of scrolling up to the top again?

Hi Sean

Human psychology is so very interesting. The curiosity factor is a huge driving force in our need to explore. You just need to look at small babies and children who are pure curiosity! And isn’t it a wonderful thing.

I am sure the most profitable advertisers in the world are the ones that really captured human emotion and inquisitiveness. I like this suggestion and I think I do this, coming from a long line of story tellers.

I am going to invest in a good copywriting course as I know that writing is a skill that can be learned and any copywriting tips in the meantime are most welcome.
