in Business

Internet MarketingMany online marketers don’t have any formal Internet Marketing Education. Most of them learn the ropes on their own and do quite well. A lot make their start without any financial investment such as through article marketing, affiliate marketing with free blogs and web 2.0 tools, and via free websites as well.

One of the greatest aspects of Internet Marketing is that just about anyone can get started on their education whether they have the ability to get started with or without an investment.

But for the growth of any business, online or off, there comes a time when you need to invest in the growth of your business and in many cases it can pay huge return on investment when you invest in getting an internet marketing education.

Education is power and there are many ways to invest in your internet marketing education so that you can take your business to the next level of success…whatever your definition of success may be.

Many will take some of their profits and start to slowly invest in tools and resources that could help them grow.

Here are some options:

Internet Marketing Books

There are a lot of great Internet Marketing books and e-books out there that can help you educate yourself more about increasing your success. You can buy books offline and read internet marketing e-books online as well which can teach you various ways to increase your online success.

Mentoring

Mentoring programmes can teach you new tricks and provide tips that can help you plan growth and implement change. Successful mentors sometimes work with groups and can often offer one on one coaching and mentoring as well. A bit of money invested in working with an internet marketing mentor could also pay off in a big way.

Memberships

There are paid memberships available to all sorts of programmes that can help you increase your success. You can pay for market research, templates, scripts, and other information and directions that can help you grow your knowledge and your business. Private clubs can be a great place to learn about new tips and tricks before this information becomes general knowledge.

Internet Marketing Courses

You can take online and offline Internet Marketing courses as well as attend workshops, seminars, and webinars that can teach you how to improve your existing business model as well as delve into a new area.

Tools

There are many available tools you can invest in to help you expand, grow, or better manage your online business. Consider the best way for yourself to move forward with your online education.

  • Software packages can help you better analyze your traffic.
  • Premium or customised website themes can help you increase your appeal to customers.
  • Investing in tools that help you manage your mailing list can help you reach more customers while saving time.
  • Enrol in a course with an Internet Marketing Educator to learn affiliate marketing.
  • Start out in an affordable way with a book like Year Of The Affiliate.

You don’t have to spend a lot of money at once in order to grow your business and you can grow at a pace that you choose.

Some tools and resources help you with time saving or improved customer service and the more knowledge you accumulate, the more successful you will be. Good luck with your Internet Marketing Education. It will be lots of fun!

Have a most outstanding day.

I hear what you are saying but there are so many that provide useless information or at very best outdated.

It’s a minefield. Sure you can hang around the forums and maybe find out who you should or not listen to. However when you first start looking into it you don’t know about forums.

There is a very steep learning curve. Social media will change all this hopefully

Hi Sean,

I think the best way to learn is through the free information first. I think it gives you a great opportunity to learn a little more about the person you are thinking of spending your money with.

I also agree with Gee. I hope that social media will make it harder for the unscrupulous people to keep getting away with what they’re doing.

I agree with you Sean. Free information is a great place to start, but you will be looking for information to answer the questions you have. I found it extremely helpful to be part of a great forum as other people ask different questions about things. Questions I wouldn’t have thought about, but I do learn heaps that way.
Once you decide to be serious about Internet Marketing you definitely need to be serious about your related education and training as well.

Hi Sean,

Belinda and I stumbled around for a few months trying a few different stategies, but in the end we thought why not invest in our education learning from experts who have had proven success. We have found a great mentor : ) who is giving us the tools, information and training to be a successful Internet Marketer. We are taking action to make our dreams come true.

Cheers

Cade

Thanks Sean,

This really breaks it down for us to see what methods of learning are available. I am more a fan of free information for a variety of reasons but also note that a lot of people out there claim that you must charge something so that people take there learning seriously enough to not want to waste their money. So far I have been lucky enough to find a variety of free training including this competition and I am pretty sure that as long as I keep going I will eventually get there in the end!

Hi Sean,
I’m lucky to have found a good Internet Marketing Forum to be learning about Affiliate Internet Marketing. I love my copy of The Year Of The Affiliate ebook.

It explains Affiliate Marketing with step by step instructions for the newbie. It also explains how to get started as an Affiliate Internet Marketer without a website and without outlaying any money upfront. I’m not telling you anything though, am I. :)

It is so easy to get wrapped up in dozens of different directions – especially the second you sign up for one newsletter or another… before long, your inbox is flooded with these things – all of which SOUND good at first… “Watch this free video for (this tip or that tip)…” or “Hi, Kathy, Here is the Free Report you requested…” (followed by numerous other emails with additional reports or videos, etc..)

Before we know it, we’re spending hours watching or reading this or that – and not actually dong any work. It can get very confusing sometimes!

I do think Renee is right about joining some forums… Maybe devote a certain time each day or so reading and learning from real people who are actively marketing, and not necessarily SELLING their knowledge.

At the end of the day, we still need to ACT on what we’re learning, though, right? :)
Cheers,
Kath

Your last sentence has got it in one Kathy ;) . No matter what product or service you sign up for, if you fail to take action on the content you may as well throw your money in the bin. Learning is one thing, taking action is another.
