Great tips for keeping your blog content current!

As blogging novice I struggle with this part of internet marketing and appreciate useful information like using google trends & twitter to search for hot topics within your niche.

I have also recently installed a wordpress plugin to my site called broken link checker that scans your blog for broken links and missing images and notifies you on the dashboard if any are found.

I love the idea of putting trendy topics up there and combine them with my blog theme. Just haven’t been doing it (yet), shame on me …
Ok, that’s another Google alarm – but how do I set it without knowing the trend??? Ok, something to think about

Hello Sean,

Great advice about keeping your blog current with the latest news. With writing the latest news, I guess you can not write a weeks worth in advance:) But the more updated your posts will be, and the more content you add that is relevant equals more traffic.

Create hyperlinks to keep traffic there longer on my blog so they may buy something. Blogging about current events in the media is is popular and will attract traffic. Sometimes outdated info is also okay if it’s relevant to your blog and is archived on the blog.
