Article Submission was, is and is surely going to be among the best ways to market your website. What best one can do is check for the sites which have high PR before submitting articles on the same. Low PR directories and some new ones which take lesser time to approve your articles will surely not fetch you as much traffic or juice as you want. However, there is another surprising news I heard from knol that they are going to shut down their blog. It was a great source of traffic and anybody could immediately get their article approved. With knol closing down, there is another lesson that the link which you get from such sites is not going to stay forever.

Article submission isn't as effective at passing link juice to your money site these days. However, it can still be a source of good traffic. Lately I have been experimenting with building web 2.0 properties (hub pages, squidoo, wordpress.com) and linking them to my money site and using article syndication to link to those properties. I am seeing considerable ranking results with this process. I also separate lower article directories from some of the more reputable ones like ezine, goarticle, article dashboard etc.

Does article submission really work? Can you just create an article and spin it 20 times to sibmit to article directories and this will give you some good back links? I've been told article pages carry no link value and should be avoided but im determining wether to carry on submitting articles or not because i think it may of helped with my ranking.

Hello Sean! I'm a little bit confused about article syndication. For example, I have an article and submitted it on goarticles, then do I need to submit it again to multiple article submission sites? I'm looking forward for your reply. Thanks!
