Why not put them into Clickbank straight away and let Clickbank do work for you while you spend your time focusing on what else you want to do.

They might as well be out there – passive income!

This is sound advice. Getting your products or services onto Clickbank is a perfect step to take as an affiliate marketer. Their process is fairly stringent and detailed – so by the time you get accepted, you know you have ticked all the boxes and are ready to go…. after you pay a fee, of course!

I would like to put my eBooks on clickbank eventually but I would like to know how to be a great affiliate first and what it involves.

There are really good ideas in this article especially on how to attract affiliates.

Maybe I can do both at once, be an affiliate and find affilliates so that will give me two streams of income instead of just one.

I have some ebooks on clickbank waiting for people to affiliate to them. I offer 50% commission but don’t feel confident in promoting this as I haven’t worked much on my own affiliate program.
