I totally agree with learning about the product I will be selling. For me I could not sell something I had never used or experienced. I would also have to really like it.

I notice you mentioned learning about about search engine marketing to rise to the top of SERP’s which is my next research project, plus make a plan to affiliate market through the use of social media.

I plan to get testimonials from people who have used the product.

This is great advice. I’m still working on finding the right marketing techniques that will work for me. But, I’m learning more stuff each day by reading your blog. So, any day now, I will make a sale.

Those 3 Tips for Successful Affiliate Marketing are very true. It will either make you successful or hold you back if you do not follow through on the tips. Know your product – actually I could not sell a product unless I knew about it because I would not feel comfortable promoting a item I was not familiar with.
Find the right Products and Company – Without those two critical steps you might as well not bother with the Affiliate Marketing.
Find Marketing Tips that Work – I am playing around with techniques at the moment. I love to see how other websites are set up, they either give me great ideas or show me how NOT to market a website.
